An articulated program includes a “coherent sequence of courses” building from very basic skills taught in the early high school years to more advanced skills taught during junior and senior years in high school, and finishing with the highly advanced, targeted training gained at the post-secondary level. To be articulated, the program must include not only the career and technical courses associated with the training, but also the academic courses that support the skills preparation for the workforce.
